Though there may be other software interfering here. If we have added Exclusions already, this should not be the case.

The main culprit for these ones is the Anti-Virus causing grief. Is there some software interrupting the process? If it does not work, then we can rule this out and move on. I would recommend checking your Account Permissions in window with an IT Professional to prevent this from occurring again.

If it works, this was a permissions error. Go to your Desktop, Right Click the AccountRight Icon then choose Run as Administrator: This is a simple test, run the software as an Administrator and see if you get the same behaviour. If not: then this sounds like the files aren't all there and we may need to reinstall the software while the Anti-Virus has temporarily been disabled and then re-enable the Anti-Virus after the software has been installed. If so: this suggests that all the components have loaded correctly. Once the folder has opened, can you see if all the Contents have been loaded?įor example does your screen look like this: To check: Go to your Desktop and Right Click the AccountRight Icon, then choose: Open file location

To check this, we want to find out if the files are listed here.

If the exclusions are in place and we have attempted a reinstall of the software and it still isn't loading, we need to find out where it's falling over and why before coming up with a solution. The most common troubleshooting steps for this is exactly what has been stated here from what you had mentioned in your most recent reply with adding exclusions to your Anti-Virus. Hi we have installed the software and then attempted to open the it using the Desktop shortcut and nothing happens, that is either a failure to load the relevant components, or the process is being forcibly closed down as it's beginning.
